Here I find myself in the throws of Blissdom. Surrounded by engaged, smart “mommies” who wish to make their passions into a business, big or small. Being here as a “political” blogger is dicey, at best. Frankly, many Moms are far more engaged in everyday conversations to get through the many responsibilities they juggle. Conversations highlighting political punditry are not priority numero uno. I can say, however, that never do they judge my considerable passion (bordering on problem) for the daily news and its impact.
I, however, feel a small amount of personal satisfaction being here at Blissdom. Last year, with one post on a tiny blogger blog, with an idea in my head, I registered and blindly flew to Nashville searching for information. My best friend lives in Nashville. If it didn’t work out, I would have, at the very least, been able to know her children more deeply and share a beer over some appetizers. However, it did work out. A year later, I guess… I am a Blissdom success story. At least in my own mind.
Last year, I went home and began registering and protecting my idea. I launched it and I own it. That means, at times, it takes a backseat to my job, my husband and my children. It also means that I knew from the very start that the balance remained solely in me and for me. I need not be anything other than me.
A year later…

- I am a co-host of Smart Girl Nation

Smart Girl Nation airs live at RFC Radio and is also available for download from iTunes.
It is a personal joy to be able to work with many smart, amazing conservatives who wish to make information more readily available thereby acomodating the busy lives we all lead. If you disagree with my perspective, I am open to the continuing dialog. I find rich discussion always leads to a deeper understanding. If you wish to stick around, subscribe! You’re gonna love the new look I’m working on. I’ll be rolling out the new Mommentary to include all things digital.
If’ you’ve been around awhile…thank you. This fun, fulfilling ride is only made possible through your participation and encouragement.
